Competition Training – Double Half Snatch (10 x 1 minute)
No early morning session today due to work and knowing I’d be on the heavy stretch of the training plan now: the lead up to the 10 minutes set. Anyway, back to the training plan today:
10 sets of 1 minute DHS with a 12 kg, followed by 1 minute rest.
I wanted to set a slightly higher pace than the previous test, which was 10 rpm.
So:
- Rounds 1 – 6: 12 rpm
- Rounds 7 – 8: 13 rpm
- Round 9: 14 rpm
- Round 10: 19 rpm
For a total of 131 reps.

Post-lunch walk: 15 minutes.
Pre-kettlebell warm-up: 15 minutes walk with bodyweight presses and other warm-up thingys.
