A Short Session Today
A simple’ish session today.
My back was aching from yesterday’s gada 360 “training” and, being honest, I didn’t feel like doing much. So, 10 minutes with the 13.5 mm rope and then some 360s with the 3.x kg gada again.
We’re in rainy season in Thailand, and the humidity is sky-high. Gripping the bamboo handle isn’t as easy as you’d like when your palms start to sweat.
But I’m glad I dragged myself out there to do it. It’s always a good way to start the day.
P.S. I’ve decided to buy myself a set of proper maces (4 kg, 6 kg, and 8 kg). Apparently, gadas have their place, but they’re only really good for behind-the-body work. Given the size of the gada head, you can understand why they’re of limited use in front of the body.

And Then There’s the Food…
Also, I’ve decided to log my food as well. I really need to get under 100 kg by Christmas and I’ve figured the only way I’m going to do this is by being honest with myself.
- Lunch: 230 gr ribeye steak, 4 boiled duck eggs (6 shown but there’s 2 left in the fridge), an avocado, and some no sugar mayonnaise mixed with Coleman’s mustard and black pepper.
- Dinner: 1 tin of tuna in brine, 75 gr grated Gouda, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, salt and black pepper.
